Donna Weber Obituary

Donna Weber, age 83, of Good Thunder, died on January 30, 2026.
Memorial Service will be held on February 27, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church, rural Good Thunder with visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the church. Mankato Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
Donna was born on January 3, 1943 to Fred and Ida (Medenwaldt) Weber. She was raised on the family farm in Decoria Township. She was baptized and confirmed at Redeemer Lutheran Church. Donna attended and graduated from St. Clair High School in 1961. She attended college in Mankato and was a Business Ed teacher in Barnum, MN for many years. She left teaching when her father became ill and she took care of him until his passing in 1981. Donna then worked for Hallmark cards for over 20 years.
Donna loved gardening, taking photographs, feeding the birds, crocheting, puzzles, and her cats. She made many greeting cards with the photos of her flowers. She was very crafty. She was a member of the Mapleton Better Garden Club where she made up the yearly booklet for the coming year. Donna also was treasurer at Redeemer Lutheran Church for over 30 years. She was very involved with helping at church functions, especially the German dinner.
Donna is survived by her cousins, Elaine Lentz of Good Thunder and Mavis Witt and Shirley Radloff of North Dakota; second cousins, Godson, Jeffrey Lentz, Laura (Carl) Corgard, Teresa Lentz; third cousins, Curtis (Joy) Lentz, Alaina Corgard, Wesley Corgard, and Johnathan (Tiarose) Corgard. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.
